I ended up setting 11 more CL eggs last night. I now have a total of 48 CL eggs incubating. Fingers cross for good results and nice looking offspring

That's great news! Not 12? Maybe one will lay first thing this morning so you can slip in and make it an even dozen, of course that would make the larger number off--49 is a strange number so better yet to make it a baker's dozen for an even 50

. You can always stack them if they don't all fit in the turner!

I hope you have good results too! When is your first batch set to hatch? I know that you posted when you set them but I am being too lazy to go back and look.

The first 37 are due to hatch April 4th. The next 11 I set last night so they are due to hatch April 13th.

LOL I thought about grabbing another 2 today once they are laid. We'll see... I think I have enough chickies brewing at the moment.

I was going to set 12 but I sent out a mixed breed assortment of eggs yesterday and tossed in 2 Cream Legbar eggs as extras (one of which I was going to set myself).

At what age have y'all noticed your cream leg bars laying? Mine are at least 20 weeks old and still no signs of laying. I thought they would be like my leghorns and lay early but doesn't look like it lol
