Cream Legbars

X2 - the white head blotch is the key. congratulations duluthralphie!! nice fluffly chicks.

Thanks, I did not mean to mislead anyone, I only have two male, it appears, chicks in those three pictures, they were really bad pictures through the incubator window so I put in two of the one chick, not thinking someone would think they are two chicks, to give a better perspective of it.

I had another chick hatch over night.

That is the good news the bad news is it appears weak, it is smaller and I am not sure her legs are correct. They maybe flayed some. She does not hold them under her. If she lives she may just have to go into my egg laying flock and not my breeders. That is very sad to me, I will give her more time as she may only be an hour or 2 old. (not quite fuzzy yet) but close

This is her pictures...

Thanks for the kind words LostTexan - if there was an abashed emoticon, it would go right here x - because there are a lot of contributors to the CL community - I glad that you are one.

Love the poem in your signature -- and wouldn't you know the end is cut off.

It's just a tongue-in-cheek blatant ripoff of Lord of the RIngs - makes me laugh:

Three Equines for the Horse-kings under the sky,
Seven hens in their nest boxes of stone,
Nine extra cockerels doomed to die,
One Toddler on her dark throne
In the Land of West Texas where the tumbleweeds lie.

One Coop to rule them all,
One Coop to weigh them,
One Coop to bring them all,
And in the darkness lay them.
In the Land of West Texas where the tumbleweeds lie.

Brilliant. I love LOTR... I like your ripoff -- shows a lot of creativity IMO.

Day 0 on my very first hatch ever and I am nail biting.

My two CL eggs have tiny little pips. I have two EEs making good progress. Nothing yet with my 2 Isbars and a third EE.

I have a feeling I'm going to be sitting in front of the incubator all day!

Eek! Good luck! How exciting. Can't wait to be on my first day 0! :)

Today I'm picking up 6+ ccl hatching eggs I won in a charity raffle online locally yesterday, but I have a total of 2 girls hatched from the eggs I set from dretd from my girls I had gotten from her.

BTW 3 of mine escaped 2 days ago, but all came back home, but looking for 1 for 4.5 hours was very exhausting.

I'm hoping to work on a fibro sbel project, but I do enjoy this breed. A bit flighty yes, but not as dumb as I had heard :)

Unfortunately both my svart honas and ayam cemani roosters have (coloring) issues, and my girls far from perfect. This is definitely a project isn't it?
