Thank you. I have to share what happened.... while I was busy taking these pictures I didn't realize I had left the coop door slightly ajar. About five escaped and then I had to chase them all over the yard. They are quick!

Mine all escaped their paddock today (looked up, and all were OUTSIDE the fence!) - so I rounded up Paula (who let me pick her up), herded Jenny and Dumble back into the paddock through the gap they had found, and then proceeded to have the world's slowest chicken chase with Lissa, who stayed JUST outside my reach for about 6 laps around the paddock and coop. (Finally cornered her and got her back in...) I'm so glad there was no one watching - I'm sure it was pretty comical looking, with me slowly shuffling along bent over with my arms out...

The little cockerel is about 13 weeks old. He's little for his age I think but I'm sure he'll find a growth spurt eventually. The pullets are almost 8 weeks old.
I really like him. They are all pretty. I don't think I have a cockerel with a comb that straight. I have three. It was buy one get two free at a Greenfire Sale! Sounds like a lingerie sale!

Haha! That's funny :)

I hope he turns out to be a good example. I'd love to start out strong :) he's a big sweet heart too. He likes to get up on my shoulder and cuddle and now he had one of the rhodebar pullets doing it too lol

I am sure I looked like a cartoon character going around and around the coop.

Just like Fire Ant Farm.

Don't we all. Rounded up my gang for their 12 week pictures. I shut the door on the coop so they cant get away

.They couldn't run, but they gave flying away a good shot. From outside I am sure my neighbors thought there was a massacre going on in there.
