Thank you Walt for that explanation. My intention is to stick with the Rees birds at this point and depending on what I get, if I get anything, either incorporate or run separately the Rees/C birds. As this progresses I'll be picking brains to learn as much as I can. In a way, thank god for the internet. Brings people together that normally may not be.
My three Cream Legbars have blue/green earlobes, accepted by the UK standard. Marge has blueygreen earlobes, Patty has baby blue lobes, and Selma has spearmint green. Could this suggest the egg colour they will lay? Sorry if this is a totally stupid question. Thank you
I was looking at CLs on Youtube and saw this video. I thought you might enjoy it. CLs at a Poultry Show in the UK.I got three cream legbar ladies in the autumn, for their beautiful eggs sweet temperaments and striking looks. However, I would be interested to know how good quality they were in regards to show type. Any suggestions would be welcome, as I'm only just learning what's good an what's not. Thank you![]()
