Cream Legbars

Could you please post a picture of the head from the top and straight on. I am wondering if there is a distinctive brown 'V' on the top of the head? I cannot tell from the pictures. If so, then its a girl, if not then boy. Looks suspiciously girly to me.

we need a headspto shot too.. the chick down is too blured to be a female...

there should be no color. People who like the color should not say that their working towards the standard or improving cream legbars becaues they like the breed. They should start calling them sonething else and start a new thread and start working on a diffrent sop.. the people who like the color like a very big fault in the CREAM LEGBAR. Some chestnut allowed is only talking about the shoulders of the wings in the UK sop. That is stated becaues its either really hard to get absolutely no chestnut or punnet knew you needed a slight amount to get the good salmon color in the females chest. Thats still up for debate.. the picture nicalandia oosted of the male is the corect color of a CREAM LEGBAR

Thank you!

With regards to the cream/coloured issue... As a complete outsider with no understanding and awareness of the SOP or anything WHATSOEVER, is the desired colour the ones which look yellow/cream colour, or is that too colourful? The pictures that I've seen which are meant to be good colours look grey to me, not cream. Then you have the very colourful red/chestnut roosters. But I've seen at least one roo with CREAM hackles rather than the grey colour that is in the most recent rooster photo. Just interested.

its kind of hard to understand it if you dont have read the SOP, but yellow/Cream is not really an issue, as I said before since some chestnut is permissible and No Chestnut is also permissble.....BUT not only that,, anything inthe Middle like soft cream/yellow should also be permissilbe, but thats just the tone of the feathers, these feathers should also be grey barred... some birds lack this and their saddle look just yellow barred which is not deisred if you follow the SOP
