Hi All. These little Rees line girls arrived here today! Unfortunately These were the only ones that made it. Poor things must have had a rough ride. Very excited for these little ones.

Patience is a virtue...I worry more about their development then I think I did my own son

Some show crest at 3-weeks and some do take a little longer.....Hope that they are showing crests before too long!

I hope they show a crest soon too, they still have the chick down so there is still hope. If not I will have to try to correct it through breeding.

And then the real fun begins.

I did lose mostly males. These three look like females to me. The one is a bit sluggish and im hoping she regains her strength. The other 2 were strong upon arrival.

GFF has already rescheduled a replacement shipping.

Sorry you lost some chicks. When we received a shipment of Australorps, most of them made it, but two "exotic" chicks died. I wish the hatcheries would not do that "free exotic chick" thing. I got my Cream Legbar from a local breeder. her name is Nugget and she had the chipmunk stripes and eyeliner as a baby. Now she's growing out her crest and looks really silly. She's four weeks old.

The awkward years....they look like punk rockers. she is a pretty pullet. Yay Nugget!

Thanks. They do look funny with there little crests. I only have 2 other CL pullets,but I have lots of Olive Eggers from CL. So the little crests are everywhere. Love it.
