Cream Legbars

TD, I was looking at your previous post and the photos of your current pullets or hens. Do their earlobes have a
greenish tinge? I have some pullets from GGF of this year and their erarlobes have the same greenish tinge.
Hard to explain to anyone as I know the standard says white. Will they change as they mature? The color
I am seeing in yours may be the camera or light, but truly my hens have a greenish hue to their earlobes.

This youngster is still too colorful, but his hackles are less colorful than Sunny's He has a smaller Comb, a bigger crest, and although it doesn't show up in this picture has yellower legs. Nearly perfect ear lobes. He needs to fill out a bit. Like Sunny his tail is too high. That is what I see... What do you all think. Remember I am a beginner at picking out the parts of a bird instead of looking at them as a whole. You can't hurt my feelings... :) Regardless if you think it is desirable, is his chestnut acceptable?

Here is Sunny for a reminder of my current rooster.

Hi Kendy, I'm jealous of those white earlobes! The straight comb, barring, and long back all stand out as good traits on your new boy. He also has a nice distinct crest I would say. The amount of mahogany is not bad to my eye. If he has a double cream hen, and produces double cream males, I think you will see very little of that mahogany in the offspring. From my experience, the double cream really knocks back the mahogany; if single for cream, it won't be reduced.

I still enjoy seeing Sunny =)

(added - I don't think the tail angle on the new boy is a problem from this picture, maybe @KPenley could weigh in?)

From these pics, the tail is definitely not a squirrel tail. But they are a tad higher than ideal. Nothing to worry too much about, but looking for hens with lower set tails should improve the tails even more. Thanks for showing your beautiful birds Kendy!

The first one with a beard is a mix. She could likely have Cream Legbar in her mix due to the crest and the coloring. The second lighter one I cant see well enough to know if she is pure Cream Legbar or a CL mix, more pictures of her would help.

They are both female.

X2 They are most likely Easter Eggers with some Legbar in the mix. You have the possibility of beautiful eggs!

I have a CL and Wheaten Ameraucanas and the first thing that came to mind was that they are a mix of Ameraucana (or Easter Eggers) and CL. The coloring looks similar to a CL or a brown leghorn but the body type reminds me of my Ams. The coloring of the one on the right looks like both CL and my WAs. You probably have a good chance of blue green eggs :)
