Cream Legbars

If the birds hear someone in the basement, they come up to the door(it's a walkout basement) and tap on the door and crowd the window till I come out. During the day they get to run on pasture, but they always crowd the door if they think someone might feed them.

"Middle hen" who ironically is now the biggest pullet (5.5 weeks old) is colored more like a Robin and has very little crest starting at all

By what age will I know for sure she is going to keep this look (color and skimpy crest)

Really!! So good to know there are quiet ones out there!! Maybe my girls have been badly influenced by their noisy BCM broody mama. I feel like i should move to a distsnt rural area...My boy is a cornucopia of wonderful calls and chatters and growls, and periodic crowing.

Here is my back door. They know I am in there! The legbars are first in line.
Scarey! This movie didn't get nearly enough play back in 2008 ---- here's a trailer -- and the giant chicken in the city among the buildings--- reminded me of these chickens looking for food....
It was called "Mad City Chickens" -- and I thought it was really entertaining.....
