Have fun with that. I was also going to create my own breed of silkie. The giant silkie Chicken. I am going to hatch some brahma chickens next spring, and cross the hens with my silkies.

LF = large fowl.
I want to cross my Spitzhauben rooster with my Sebright hen (both are silver) The fiesty little Sebright , who is older, hasn't yet agreed with my idea. But maybe this coming year he will win her over.

can't blame her,he is a rooster and sometimes roosters have no manners.at my place,every single hen hates a different rooster it it so funny because these hens no my rooster won't bother them because my boys are too small for my hens.

my hen jewel can be one sometimes:she likes to get out and then run back and forth in front of the wire trying to get back in,attacks our poor little OEGB rooster,and is super mean to dandy dodo our barred rock

The white standard to medium-sized silkies are the original breed line. The colored varieties including bantam silkies have D'uccle, or bantam Cochin within their genetics.

I know every breed originated from the jungle fowl. Did you know the Chinese were the first poeple to domesticate chickens?

Hello, again. Here's a crele Orpington variety I'm working on with different genetics.

Genetics of the chick is: Buff Orpington/Barred Rock X Buff Orpington/Australorp.
