What Do YOU think the best incubator is?

I'm using a "Kebonixs" 12 egg incubator. It looks like most of the other rotary 12 egg incubators (i.e. Brinsee, Harris), it was well calibrated from the factory, it holds temperature very nicely, handles a range of egg sizes, and keeps temperature beautifully.

Humidity maintenance is so so and entirely manual.

Oh, and it will (briefly) remember where its at in the event of a power outage.

depends mainly i think on how many eggs you need to hatch .. i just need a 12 egg simple auto turn incubator from ebay to keep my small flock maintained .. its small simple and effective if set up right, same with any of them i think... but not a good choice for pumping out chicks on the industrial level non-stop lol ..

Well I’ve been incubating for years now...I’m just writing an article right now :D

I've only used the Hova Bator, so can't compare to others. It has worked fine for me for 3 hatches. I had one disaster hatch in between, but that included an extended power outage and a defective (external) temperature gauge, so I can't blame the incubator.

I want to get a second incubator so I can use one exclusively for hatching. I'm interested in the results of the survey and reading your article to inform my purchase. Thanks for starting the thread.

Thanks for being interested! That’s always a good motivation
