Yeah. How'd he turn out?I've had roosters like that (Buff Orpington dad/Rarred Rock, or now Dominique hen offspring), and other different colored barred roosters.

Yes, he is a double sex link cross, Buff Orp rooster x Barred Rock hen will yield gold based hens(dark orange face, no head spot) and Golden single barred roosters(S/s+ yellow face and headspot) these type of cross don't need to be feather sexed of course(I am sure you did not)Our Buff Orpington/Barred Rock rooster as a youngster. He's the one with yellow face, and white spot on his head.
Yeah, he didn't need to be feathered sexed, unlike my chick I hatched awhile ago.Yes, he is a double sex link cross, Buff Orp rooster x Barred Rock hen will yield gold based hens(dark orange face, no head spot) and Golden single barred roosters(S/s+ yellow face and headspot) these type of cross don't need to be feather sexed of course(I am sure you did not)
He looks simular to my roo, except my roo has more barred tail feathers. Here he is. He became a meat bird, since I didn't have room to keep him.
I have pics of others of all different barred color roosters if you're interested in seeing them. I don't want to be rude, or intrude on your thread with too many pics, unless you're interested.
