I think all your silkies are nothing more then regular hatchery silkies.
A silkie is a silkie is a silkie.
You can try to fancy them up with your personal study but they are what they are. Nothing special. And you are already aware of my opinion.

It's harmless food coloring. My mother wanted a colored silkie.

I will be posting updates today if things work out right.

I have never understood why people feel the need to dye chickens. Or anything else for that matter... Its different if you're doing it to yourself... I used to die my hair... but an animal??

The top of the silkie's head was just a start, the silkie is going to be tie dye.
