Oh also i have two white hens like this. I was told I can trim around their eyes a little so they can see better.
What do you think?

Do you know anything abouy Cochins?
Im asking cause they began growing feathers and someone said it might be hock vultures. But they are soft and they seem to be growing into them.

I don't know much about Cochins, but I know most feather legged chickens have vulture hocks.

most feather legged chickens have vulture hocks.

Sultans and Booted Bantams are the only APA recognized breeds where vulture hocks are part of their SOP. Brahmas, Cochins, Silkies, and other feather-legged breeds may show them here in the US but it is a disqualification. In the UK; however, Brahmas require vulture hocks.

Have you seen how my project chicken is turning out?

I dont think I have any show quality birds. But I have no clue.
Your's are just regular pet quality Silkies, which have less fluff on their heads bodies, & sometimes feet. Pet quality silkies also have lighter colored foot pads, missing 5th toes, & too bright of combs sometimes.
Agreed with @MysteryChicken. Wrong combs/combs that are too big (silkies are supposed to have small walnut combs), lack of a crest/too small crest, and slim body shape are all signs of a hatchery quality silkie.

D'uccles have vulture hocks as well.
Cochins aren't supposed to have vulture hocks? That's strange, since I've never seen or owned a cochin that didn't have them.

Pictures I've seen of Cochins have vulture hocks. If not Vulture hocks, what are they?
