Creating Experimental Black Crele Chickens (Different Genetics, new variety)

One of my project chicks is cinnimon in color, no barring, which is the Buff Orpington/Barred Rock X Rhode Island Red.

Buff Orpington/Barred Rock X Australorp turned out to be completely black, one speck of bar on it's back.

Double Buff Orpington/Barred Rock cross is barred with pencilled breast feathers, no buff coloring.

I wouldn't characterize that as penciling. I would call that a disrupted barring. Penciling looks completely different.

Her pattern looks closer to double lacing. I took a better look.

Every chicken gene begins with a mutation.

Its from the stippling in the partridge pattern from the buff orpingtons in its background.
But why go with the obvious when you can believe its some spectacular mutation that would be beyond likely.

From what I just read upon barring genetics, lacing, and pencilling come from the barring gene.

You must of been reading something about autosomal transverse barring like the Campine has.
But the barring you're working with from the barred rocks is sex linked barring which has nothing to do with the pattern gene, penciling or laced. Nor do they have any connection with or to the sex link barring.
Where do you get or read your genetics information from?
