Creating Experimental Black Crele Chickens (Different Genetics, new variety)

Some what.
That one is blue as in blue black splash blue aka andalusian blue.
Mine is same pattern but self blue aka lavender. Like a lavender Orpington blue.
I am working on one exactly like that pic also. Maybe have one by end of summer. Depends on how many I hatch and how lucky I get.
I'll repost pic but its just a day old chick. I have never seen any birds in this pattern so can't show any adult pic.
I'm sure there's one out there somewhere I may search for a pic later.

Project chick updates: 11 weeks old Buff Orpington/Barred Rock X Buff Orpington/Australorp cross.

11 weeks old: Double Buff Orpington/Barred Rock cross.

11 weeks old: Buff Orpington/Barred Rock X Australorp cross. She got some gold on the back of her neck.

Non-project chick: 4-5 weeks old Mille Fleur D'Uccle X OEGB chick.

She crows like my mom's OEGB hen used too do. I think crowing pullets, and hens are interesting. This chick is a pullet with a large peachy comb, no wattles.
