I love this idea!! My first year owning chickens we used plastic 5 gallon buckets with metal lids my hubs got from work. It didn't take a month before wood rats ate competely through them! So now we've been storing it in an old suv. Which is only temp till we get metal trash cans or a freezer. We don't want the rats getting in our suv but it was either that or the house
