Upon seeing a flying girl come shooting out of the window, Ace's eyes grew wide and he took an uneasy pace backward and blankly stared up at her, a sheepish simper lingering vaguely on his mouth.

Max didn't even notice him. She tucked in her wings and dive bombed. Like she had been doing since she was a kid

"Woah there!" exclaimed Ace as she came ominously close to him, at the dangerous speed that she was flying with. He leapt backward, and, in a whirl of chocolate brown feathers, enormous wings sprouted from his back, carrying him out of firing range, each wingbeat bringing tremendous blusters of wind.

He touched his feet to the ground, pulling back his toes as the tips of black talons could be seen poking just out of his sneakers, and hoping she didn't notice. "Well, hello there," he said with a chuckle, "And what would your name be?"
