Carrie floated lazily in the cool fall breeze, her wings rippling slightly as the air passed under them, holding her aloft. Being built to fly, she felt much more at home in the air, it was where she belonged. On the ground she felt awkward, and uncomfortable, and being inside a building was even worse.

Ace heaved a silent sigh, the snide comments that were tossed back and forth between the two starting to get on his nerves. Tempted to leave the two, he politely stayed in wait for the argument to wane, also worried a sudden departure might make it worse.
