Very pretty chicks I did a cross with my SLC roo over my partridge hens and the chicks look a lot like yours. Will have to post some later and show them off some are so darn cute especially the ones from the partridge frizzle girls. I'm breeding them now to a barred frizzle roo to start on Crele. Just had my first chick hatch and it is black with the white spot on the head. Another chick is blue but I have 2 splash hens in the pen also working on blue barred. After reading up here I am thinking of taking the partridge girls and putting them in with my Buff Barred rooster. Has anyone bred this way yet? I do have a mottled BBR cochin rooster that came out of my mille breeding that I think would be great to breed with also and just made a pen with him and the partridge frizzle girls. So we'll see in a few months also LOL! I love developing pretty colored cochin bantams and still without a partridge rooster since I lost mine in the spring to a coon I've been playing with my partridge girls. I've hatched some really pretty chicks with them bred to my Blue Columbian rooster. Everyone who comes to buy chicks want to buy them. I've got to get some photos of them and show them off too. Great thread though and have totally enjoyed reading.

I have some LF Cochins coming out like crele. I have very few left for sale because everyone that sees them thinks they are gorgeous. The pullets turned out nice like this, too. I just breed them because I love the pair I have but am more than willing to sell the pretty chicks. Guess I need to breed more next year.

He is pretty, we bred an Americauna that looks like yours but with muffs from an Auruacauna rooster over a barred rock hen. Gary loved him and decided to keep him, He just started breeding and we have him in with 2 partridge rock hens can't wait to set some eggs from them.

Very pretty birds!

I wish I could find someone in the UK that lived near me that wanted my Crele Pekin roo! We hatched him on the 4th of July! (hubby is English and I'm American) His name is Rusty Hinge, Rusty for short, ...... because that's what he is starting to sound like.

I have been working on this color for several years now. This is where I am with the project right now. I started with very good quality cochins which I hope shows through in the pictures of the offspring below. I was considering selling a few eggs from these birds. If I tried to sell a few eggs from these birds in a few weeks, would anyone be interested? Just curious. BTW no birds to sell just eggs.

It is very evident that you have put an extreme amount of time and effort into this project and it is showing. Your birds are the best "Crele" I have ever seen. The color is awesome and the type is really amazing. I would be interested in some eggs from these guys.
