I hope you can find the room! You have such beautiful birds and I'm sure you would do this project quite proud as well, although I know how hard even one project can be on space alone..lol.. I have one of my chicks from my birds that is feathering out to look very much crele. It appears to be a pullet, but looks more to have the male crele coloring. I don't have anthing that has the barred pattern so she is a mystery to me, although reading up on the crele genetics I am pretty sure of the breeding pen she came from. I need to get pics on here so that I can get opinions on wether or not she may end up having the crele type pattern. To everyone who is working on these, Please keep doing so, they are beautiful!!!Glad you did!
I keep saying I am going to put my birds together to make this beautiful pattern but I have so many more projects and keeps the F1s and F2s marked and in a different brooder is still going to be hard for me at this point. I have the makings for this pattern but not the room to separate out what I need to work with.
I may get to it eventually since I love the looks of them so much.
This past spring someone was selling Crele Bantam Cochin hatching eggs on Ebay. Lots of people bidding, I think the winning bid was over $100 for six eggs! Not sure who was selling them or how established their lines are/were. Will see if I bookmarked thier Ebay ad, and post it here. Seems they were down south.
Quote: Me too! Hope the link works, have not seen anymore eggs offered on Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=121087326136&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:US:1123
