Crele Bantam Cochin Project

Would anyone be willing to sell any hatching eggs? Country Boy? Lynn? :)

My girls really are not up to speed in laying yet for 2014. This is "still" very much of a project. I have 4 roos that are begining to look correct but I still have alot of work to do. I can't guarantee that you will get Crele chicks. The pattern is there but the coloring isn't correct as of yet. I have hatched several chicks this past month. Let me critique them as they mature & get some pics so you can get an idea of what they look like.

As my cockerel from my friend Aaron has matured, I'm starting to think he looks crele.

He came from a red X buff barred breeding.

Any opinions????

I would expect crele to have more black in the hackles but then, I really have no idea. I am still extremely new to crele and though I have all the birds to make them I just haven't gotten it going yet.
BTW....that boy is super handsome!

I have got to get mine put into breeding together so I can get some of these gorgeous birds! (Yeah, I am cutting back alright!)

Hi - This is a great site and I really love this thread as I was given this amazing rooster and asked a couple of people and finally got some help from a great person that breeds cochins. I am thinking he is a crele bantam cochin. I would love to get some girls for him. Does anyone have these in Michigan? I attached a few pictures but I need to take some of him. He was slightly bent over with the wind blowing up his tail feathers in the outdoor photos. They were actually taken of him before I got him. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I got cuckoo and partridge cochin bantams from Cackle this year and it's appearing that my partridge are all pullets. First generation with my cuckoo roo covering them should produce what? Can anyone refer me to a post where I can find this, as I'm sure it's been discussed.
