Creole Dorkings????

Yes! my first 4 pullets from the cuckoo/red cross are starting to lay eggs! I am hoping to acquire a red roo from show lines in september and if all goes well, possible cross from them in early november! The cross between the two colors seems to invigorated the line as they are closer to the standard than the parents! I will post pictures sometime this weekend!

Here are some pullets of the Dorking Cuckoo roo with the red dorking hens. All I need now is a nice quality Dorking red roo!

why dont you go back to the red bird you used before(red dorkings are wildtype)? out of that cross you will get many Crele Dorkings... select the best ones and mate them to the best Red Dorking bird you can buy or get your hands on... then when you believe you have good dorking looking crele birds you can mate brother to sister and will hatch some Autosexing Dorkings...

I don't have a good red dorking roo,I lost him last year. these are out of a Dorking cuckoo roo with red dorking hens. I really want to get a great red dorking roo to mate with these to get my crele, Then I will mate brother with sister. Thanks!

Finally , ready to get on with my crele Dorking project! I have hens from my Cuckoo roo and red Dorking hens cross who have reached laying age, and now I have two beautiful Red dorking roo youngsters. Should get crele from this breeding. Unfortunately, I will have to wait until after the holidays!
