Crested chicks 3 wks old, poop like choc. pudding. Is ok?

28 chicks, I feed them medicated feed w/ powered milk, garlic and cayenne pepper. Also acv in their water. They seem really healthy and fine, altho I lost one last week. :^ ( Suddenly, she became very lethargic, I fed her milk w/ an eyedropper to no avail. Is coriodosis (spelling?) something that takes awhile to spread. Should I run out for corid? Not all have choc pudding poop, some are solid. Any idea? Thanks, Donna

One out of every ten or so poops is a caecal poop, weird looking and very smelly. That could be what you're noticing. Here's a great website showing the range of normal chicken poo.

From what I understand, blood in the poo is a sign of coccidiosis.
