Crested Cream Legbar Hatching Eggs, NPIP, AI clean

I was wondering, is there any way I could order chicks, straight run?

I'm sorry that I'm so late replying to this. I thought I set it up that I would be notified when somebody responds, but for some reason it doesn't work. Anyways, yes, I would be happy to ship you chicks. And no, I would absolutely NOT send you a box full of cockerels. I would send the chicks as hatched, males and females.

Okay, thanks. I'll get back to you.

I apologize. I wasn't trying to insinuate that you would not be honest with straight run chicks. I was merely stating that there is no such thing as straight run ceam Legbar chicks, since they are an auto sexing breed. For as long as I've been around chickens straight run has been a term for unsexed poultry. Again, wasn't trying to step on toes.
Many blessings,

No problem Tammi. The thing is I think if you deal with a seller who wants you to be happy with your purchase you are less likely to receive a box full of cockerels with an autosexing breed than with a breed that can't be sexed. If I hatch a batch of Ameraucana chicks for shipping I have no idea what I'm putting in the box. If I hatch a batch of Cream Legbars and they happen to be mostly males I would probably not ship them but rather contact the buyer and reschedule for another hatch. But, you are right some sellers are not like this at least locally around here. I've had many people tell me stories about how they picked up chicks from somebody and they turned out all males. These people were all "first time chicken owners" and I just know that somebody took advantage of them. That's just not fair and so short sighted of the seller. So yes, I think you are right, it is good to be informed, and it is good to try to make sure you are dealing with an honest seller.
No offense taken :)

Can I ask where your stock originally came from, I would like to possibly get some for fresh bloodlines to mix with the ones I'm currently hatching. My stock is GFF.

I'm only about 40 minutes from Fairview, would it be possible to pick up eggs or chicks instead of shipping?
