Crested Runner ducks

Last year I bred a Fawn and Whit male crossed with Blue female the result was beautiful it was a Blue drake with a White belly!!

Crested is a single factor dominant trait. It is safest to breed from a single drake with a non-crest hen. Ducklings from the pairing will be half crested, half smooth-headed. The mutation is not harmful provided you do not pair two cresteds as breeding one to a normal duck does not produce a lethal factor.
