Mine are in full molt!

Is there anything that I can do to speed their molt up? More protein?

I also have some young birds in there and I don't want them on too much protein, either. They get the occasional fish guts and pinky mice so they should be good there!

LOL I know! My husband is a die-hard fisherman and we can't let the dogs get them--so the chickens & Muscovies LOVE them! As for the mice, that's only on occasion when I come across a nest in the barn or tack shed...​

I am too
do the same thing, the fish proteinand oils are especially good for longtailed species and jungle fowl. Had an old pro tell me that a few years ago, it's mainly the fish oils, it just gives them one heck of good feather conditioning.
As for speeding up the molt process though, never hear of anything doing that, just time, it part of nature.

Also, I am now getting decent numbers on the bantam crevie eggs if anyone is interested, can do set of 6 at the time to keep them fresh for ya.
