It would help if you identify your general location so folks would know if you are close to do a pick up vice mailing him. Presume not possible to give him his own private space.

Showing Crevecoeur's and how to train them to allow handling. I've seen several posts that indicate the Crevecoeur is or can be flighty. Seems that judges would not be keen on reaching for a bird that is bouncing off the cage wall. What training do you all do other than handling a bird from chick to mature bird?

We live in Pittsburgh, PA. Oh, I wouldn't mail him. I don't think he would like that.

Sooooooooo glad you started this thread. I got one of these wonderful birds as a surprise in a box of others. I love her.

I was wondering, do they have the trouble seeing that the polish can have? I am thinking about raising them.

I just came across the breed today after researching rare/endangered breeds and can't seem to find anyone who breeds and sells chicks. Anyone know of a breeder? I am looking for winter/spring chicks.
