I remembered seeing a container that would dispense crickets out a small hole in the side (see this link: http://www.petsolutions.com/default.aspx?ItemId=15522823&EID=PG15522823&SID=PGRAB ) which is made for reptiles. I looked them up online but was thinking one even larger than this would be good, so I could fill it with more crickets.
Does anyone think a clay flowerpot turned upside down onto a saucer would work as well? I thought they could escape out the top drainage hole... but I'm not sure if they could catch hold of the insides of the pot. Thoughts? I was thinking this might be entertaining for coopbound chickens- my 8 weekers won't be turned out into the run for a few more weeks- the coop is roomy, but I thought this might be fun....
