Well, so far, complete strangers have told me I'm uneducated, right-wing, gullible, and biased. But none of those very same people has acknowledged the very basic point that this health care bill is unconstitutional. Not one of you have explained to me why it is more important that we do this than to abide by the law of the land, the constitution. It is one of three things:
1. You have an agenda and the constitution gets in your way,
or
2. You haven't read the constitution and don't understand how this country is supposed to work,
or
3. You don't care.
"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." - Article 5 of The Bill of Rights, as provided in the First Ten Amendments to the Constitution of the United States
I don't see why this is something that is even being argued about. Well, yes, I do.
