The adult thing to do would be a critter cam and then take the information to the authorities. I commend you for your maturity! My less developed mind would view him as a trespassing individual and a dangerous vandal. I would consider putting a couple of pellets in him. But then again that would probably put the property owner in jail. Still... its tempting and I bet it would teach a lesson.

Double down, cameras and put traps! Hard to dispute criminal trespass when the trooper has to help the sucker out!

Doesn't that depend on where you live? I thought you could use lethal force to protect your property or life. If he's torching the barn.. what's to stop him from torching the house too? This guy is a killer in the making. Can we assume you've already started a paper trail with the police? Perhaps clear it with them on what steps you can take to protect your livestock and home.

One of the most dangerous criminals out there are firebugs,arsonist.Yes, get a paper trail going with police, pics and be aware.What really sucks is the creep waits until your gone.As mentioned, whats to stop him from burning down your home..?
Maybe some nasty surprises for the unwelcome intruder are in order.Since its illegal to trap or shoot him, there must be some kind of nasty surprise you can have waiting for him.I wouldn't be able to control my anger, if he'd had burned my barn with my goats inside.I guess i'd get arrested and go to jail, because if i ever saw him on my land again, i'd beat the living crap out of his butt, before he burned something else of mine down..Sorry folks, i know its not the best way to handle the situation, but thats how i would stop it if the police don't.

Sounds like you need a gamecam with a shotgun mounted on it for the flash. Sorry you have that kind of predator, they are the worst kind. I think I would go to the police first and hope they can talk to the little b@st*rd before the gamecam goes off.

THAT IS TERRIBLE!!! i cannot believe that somebody would not only have the nerve to tresspass onto your property and scare your animals, but to burn down your barn WITH GOATS INSIDE!!! what kind of sick kid does that???
