Hi,
I am breeding heirloom Croad Langshans (Blue's & Greens) and have just started with the broad breasted bronze turkeys. Looking for sorely needed advice relating to heirloom breeds and their weirdness.... nothing in the books about my three Croad hens currently brooding one clutch of eggs..... They pile themselves on top of them and are happy to share them. Do you think these are a Mormon strain?

If the group isn't damaging the eggs, I'd just enjoy it. Maybe it takes a village(of turkeys) to raise them.

Hello and Welcome To BYC! Silkies will sometimes share eggs/chicks also, they just hand around together, it can be rather scary when they present a united front trying to keep you away from the chicks.
