Crochet along Doily Join us

I have decided to go with the red. I like it well enough to use during the holidays. I will
continue on each night until I get it done. Will show more pictures when I get a few more m
motifs on. How are you all coming along on yours?

I have to make this comment. The pattern is not that well written. I am finding
my work is coming our ruffly. It should lay flat. I am pretty sure it is not my crocheting
since I have made two of centers. The flowers are also too full. They are going to require
a lot of starch. Something I do not use on my flat doilies. It could be just me.

I had to take out one of the loops in row 7 and one of the loop bases in 6 to make it have a chance at laying flat.

I am really not good at written crochet instructions, and couldn't figure out if I was suppose to do 2 chains between the treble sets or not. I put them in and it was way to full and ruffled, so I took out rows and rows and removed the 2 chains between the treble sets. I also couldn't figure out if I was suppose to do a chain 3/sc in the space between the treble sets, I left that out on the second time too and it is laying much flatter. Don't know if I am going to have issues down the road but if I do I'll figure out a work around, b/c I really need it to lay flat since it is to be wall art.

Uh oh. I hope I don't have too many issues. I started the center part and hope to get a lot done today. I'm off from work and the electric company is repairing a transformer (or something) so no electric. I have no excuse right?! Lol.

Kass I did but you don't have to. Yes you need to put the chain 3/sc in that space too. I crochet extremely tight and still the pattern was too full.
