Goofy moose have been hanging out here for a week. I wouldn't mind if they would stay out of my corral and stop breaking my fence....starting to tick me off!

Oh well, at least they are cute, even if they are pests....

Here is a picture of the wonderful purse Coldupnorth sent me.
I really like it a lot. The grab bag gift swap was a great idea. I love seeing what people send.

Thank you Crosby. The scarf is beautiful. I love scrap made items. So many colors and textures. It's so long too. It's taller than me. Lol. Thank you so much.

On a side note*

I will take pics of it when my Mom gives it back to me. I opened the package as my Mom was going back home (She lives on Padre Island). She yoinked it from me. I was like that's mine from the crochet swap. She says to me I know, it's so pretty. Gee thanks, Mom. She visits me and the family on the weekends, so I'll take pics this weekend and post them.

I saw a friend wearing a similar scarf that was from the store. It had different colors and textrues, but the threads were not woven in. I wanted to make something like it, but I finished it up by hiding the loose threads and adding fringe.. The first one I made was white, off white, yellow, gold and brown. I really liked it. My niece saw it and now it is at university with her.

The next one I made was black and grey with jewel tones. I tried to stay with similar tones for yours but added green because you said you like green.

I made it long so you can double it up and tuck the ends through like a slip knot if you want. Thats how I like to wear mine.

I'm glad your mom likes it.
