I want to do it but I need a time frame to be able to say for sure if I can make 20 squares. I have carpal tunnel syndrome and I have to stop and rest alot.

What if we close out the sign up next week and then make the deadline 6 weeks out from there? Would that work?

Ooooo... I'm in. I love granny squares. I actually even like the multi-colored squares put together with black! That would be called "retro" and "cool" by the younger crowd.

So (20) 6" squares of any granny square pattern in any cool color combos? Due to Scrambled by the end of April/first part of May?

The problem with being good at making things is that no one makes things for you. They just assume that you will make it yourself. I love having handmade stuff around me. Won't this be fun?

OMG!! I love it, how fun to get up this morning and see so many new folks on the list!!! Yes, we need to tell Ozark too!! And you mean the Parson'sBetterHalf Does not crochet?! Girl, you are too busy hatching, building coops, cooking, quilting, churching, mommying....you need just ONE more thing to do, lol!!! Thank ya'll for being excited about it!! Maybe you can be thinking among your selves a general color scheme so that the squares (no matter their style) will at least had enough similar color that it wont be hard to border (you could border yours citygirl with black!) and put together. I'm easy, if the group decides several colors or a theme, like earthly, or oceany...no problem for me...like Citygirl, I generally give all mine away too as gifts! Glad to count you in floridachickl! So, be thinking about some genral boundaries for the colors ya'll!

Sounds like fun!!! Can you just imagine the pretty afghans we'll have to show off!!! I can't wait!!! OOOPPPPPSS!!! I already have 3 done and now I hear about a color scheme. Oh MY! I'm using cream and burgundy or cream and something. (depends on what is in my yarn bag)

I thought using the cream as a neutral color would work.

Let me know if I need to start over.
