Not to worry Jacie, that will be just great!!! Let's go with whatever colors anyone wants to use from their stash (that way no one is incurring any additional expenses for this project!) and see what a gorgeous mix we come up with!!! Keep recruiting other BYC'ers..and this project will just get better and better!! Might get started on mine tonight too Jacie!!! Looking sooooo forward to this!!

...so, yes, use whatever colors you want and whatever style of square you want (stay with the 6" square though, please), otherwise, no problem!!! Should be some gorgeous afghans out of this!!!

Put me on the "maybe" list, lol. A friend of mine at church crochets and she could probably teach me how to do it. But learning how to quilt and crochet may take me longer than I have, lol.

Okay lets see.... we just moved and I have 10 of the GIANT rubbermade bins (36x24x30) of yarn and several big plastic bags worth too.... anyone needs some yarn, I will be HAPPY to send it out to any of you!!!

COUNT ME IN!!!!! I am as obsessed with crocheting as I am with chickens LOL!

And I am sure Jess will want to too, but I will let her respond herself.

I am just woozy with excitement.... I also have 5 or 6 big books of granny square patterns that I could copy some patterns and send out if anyone wants any...

Yeah, I just cant stand how cool this is

Sigh...OK...twist my arm.....

I'M IN!

Count me in - Scrambled, please be sure to post exactly what we are supposed to do again once everyone has signed up and we start this thing.

Got to make it really simple for folks like me!

Cool, Arlee, I just got an email from Scrambled Egg and she decided we could use whatever colors and patterns we have but we all need to keep it at a six inch square. This should be wonderful.

Peeps, it is very easy to learn...if I can learn anyone can. LOL Two of my daughters got a simple pattern from Wal Mart (a booklet) and taught themselves in about 15 min. or less. It really is that easy. It takes experience to keep your stitches about the same size.

Thanks Ozark!! But I' in the quilting thing and I don't know how to quilt yet so I still have to learn how to do that, make 20+ squares, and send them to Miss Prissy. Mmmm, but I have alot of free time coming up so maybe it might work out.

Do all 20 squares need to be the same color(s)? I have lots of yarn but not sure if I have enough to make all 20 in the same color(s). I plan on doing the same pattern for all 20 though.

Just a quick post to say that all 20 should be the same size and pattern (that will help with the remembrance of who made which squares in the finished product!) but use whatever yarn you have and the colors will not be an issue! I am soooo excited that ya'll are excited about this!! What gorgeous afghans we'll have when this over!!

Again, I'll update the list this evening...keep on signing up folks!!

If one of you could post the instructions for the granny square I would be willing to give it a go???? I can crochet back and forth, lol. How much harder can squares be. This will give me something to do on my mom's chemo days.
