I love to make Afghans! I drive my husband crazy sometimes. I'll find a mistake I made and no matter where it is I'll rip the Afghan down until I get to it. He says, no one will notice it. I tell him I will. My third daughter, Tammy, is a Paramedic and I made a special one for her.

I follow patterns. I have a bunch of crochet pattern books and I also buy some patterns on line. I've tried to make my own patterns but they never came out right.

I fractured my hip last September in a farm accident. I passed out due to heat exhaustion and fell from our truck bed. I ended up with plenty of time on my hands. This one I call it my "broken hip" Afghan .

My oldest daughter, Susan, knits. She made this sweater, I guess you could say from the sheep to the hanger. She took raw wool, cleaned it, spun it and knitted it.

I was down with pneumonia this week and I was antibiotics so I wasn't contagious but I made a bunny plush in overalls,one pinkbluepurple mushie pop,one yellow mushie pop, and the body of a chicken plush...Over the course of two days
