Beautiful! I’m so jealous……I haven’t attempted a magic ring yet

Magic rings are properly named - they are the best! and not really tricky. I love crochet, but like some others, I took a knit class once and could not get both hands to work together. I taught myself to crochet through books although I do a lot of single crochet critters.

There I was, messing up a granny square, not caring. I was having fun, and it wasn’t looking bad. I was up at 4, so exhaustion was my instructor. Next thing I knew, I had another potato. It was curling up, but it was square. I was just excited it was the right shape.


This must be Sponge Bob’s cousin.

Progress to 100 rows
At only 20 inches I'm about 1/3 done.
Google says approximately 120 rows for a blanket
