Crocheters Thread

I love crocheting! My brother bought me one of those little wooble kits for Christmas 2 years ago and I taught myself how to crochet with the wooble kit and watching lots of YouTube!

I made a little Christmas Snoopy! So cute. I used yarn under single crochets for the first time and aimed to make this as perfect as possible and I really love how he turned out. But to be honest the yarn unders really hurt my hand, they're harder to do, don't always stay on the hook before pull through, which is extremely frustrating at times. This guy took me wayyyyy too long, probably close to 4 hours. So I'm probably never making such a complicated amigurumi with the yarn unders again, but it's nice to know a new technique.

It did look amazing! Very tidy stitches. But definitely have to protect your hand. Arm/wrist pain is dreadful

That balloon dog 😍
Do you have the pattern for that beautiful chicken, lol?
I do but I had to buy it from the pattern owner on Etsy so I don't know what the rules are for me sharing it. I can link it to the pattern owner on Etsy if you guys want I doubled her pattern so that it was bigger. The Etsy page is called Oak and Marlow and the chicken pattern is called Mabel the chicken!

Also thank you! the balloon dog was super fun it took a long time because you essentially just crochet the long tube of balloon and then actually make the balloon animal with it. It was a free pattern on Ravelry!

Yeah. I intentionally made the stitches as tight as humanly possible to make one perfect little amigurumi. I think if I made stitches a bit looser and still used yarn under my wrist won't hurt anymore. So I tried that on this little possum today and sure enough my wrist didn't hurt. But maybe that's because it's really soft velvet yarn and I'm using my new clover hooks... I'll have to make a few more things with this technique to know for sure!

Oh! I know that pattern. I didn't buy it because it seemed expensive but I found a dupe on Ribblr for it so I don't need it anymore. Thanks anyway!

The hat I made turned out so cute!View attachment 4270413
LOL, when you said "for your friends porch goose" before, I legitimately thought you meant your friend has an actual goose that hangs out near their porch. I was wondering how the goose will feel wearing it and whether the hat will fall off and get destroyed by the angry goose, and then I saw this and I was like oh.
