I made these scrunchies for a Galentines Party gift exchange! I love how some turned out… some… haha it’s a great project for using up scrap yarn.

My arm/wrist are aching and I haven't touched a hook for 2 days. I think I need to take a long rest. Knitting involves less wrist movement imo but it's definitely still strenuous so maybe not the best option. It would really depend on what you want to work up, what yarn you're using and what method you choose.I think I have to take a break from crocheting! My arm/wrist are aching and I haven't touched a hook for 2 days. Should I try knitting in the meantime or would it agitate my arm just as much??
Yeah I should probably just take a break. I will miss the hobby for sure!!Knitting involves less wrist movement imo but it's definitely still strenuous so maybe not the best option. It would really depend on what you want to work up, what yarn you're using and what method you choose.
As we used to say one place I worked, "It's the same, only different." probably would irritate the same tendons/muscles in your arm... but maybe less, maybe more, maybe just in a different way.Should I try knitting in the meantime or would it agitate my arm just as much??
Very good point! Cotton yarn, for me, is MUCH harder to knit with and is a lot more stress on my hands/wrists. If I carry the yarn in my left hand versus my right hand, I'm using different muscles, and that can lead to giving the sore ones a rest, or making the new ones sore too.what yarn you're using and what method you choose.
