We have a month old Silke/Frizzle that recently formed a crooked beak, its not terrible but the top part is definetly off to the side, does anyone have any suggestions on feeding her ect? I see her eating, and we do have deep dishes but I feel like she is struggling a bit to eat and is just scooping the food out of the bowl instead of actually eating it. Any imput would be great!

Quote:X's 2. You're most likely going to have to file down her beak so she can get enough clearance to get food into her mouth. Like Flockwatcher said, do a search and you'll find all kinds of good advice on how to manage a cross beaked chicken.

Good luck! They can live long and healthy lives.
