Crooked tail?

If the tail is offset to the side then you are probably looking at wry tail. A pic would be very helpful or search wry tail see if that is what you're seeing. Wry tail is genetic. And it is inherited very easily by the offspring. I know since I just have to test that stuff for myself. Out of three chicks one hatched and developed wry tail just like his Daddy.

I have a Welsummer that has this. She was the only egg to survive from an egg swap or should I say the only egg that hatched. She is beautiful otherwise just her tail shifts to the left. It doesnt not stop her from laying me beautiful dark speckled eggs. She is not show quality but thats ok with me.
