Hello, my Easter Egger chick is almost 11 weeks old and has been keeping his beak open wide and almost coughing/gagging with a large crop - can a baby chick get impaction? They don’t free range since they are so small so I’m not sure what in the coop would cause it?

Also still unsure if it’s a he or she?!

Is the crop always full and hard, or is it empty first thing in the morning? Check it tomorrow early before she eats or drinks. Try offering some slightly chilled coconut oil to peck at today. What are you feeding? Do you provide some granite poultry grit for their age, to help the gizzard digest foods? Here is a good article on crop problems:

It has been rock hard full for at least two days now and one I put her in a dog crate with no food only water. I have not tried any oil yet but will try tomorrow. She’s still trying to eat and drink but seems very uncomfortable always gagging and choking I’m very worried she’s only a baby.
