Crop issues need HELP!

Good morning!

I am happy to report that after one day treatment of Monistat 3, her sour crop is improving and her crop this morning was flat. I made up a mash of crumbles, organic baby apple sauce, water, and the water has rooster booster in it with good lactobacillus, as I didn't want to feed her yogurt again today. Before she ate I was able to get 1/3 of the monistat capsule in her. She is in the chunnel with her best bud and I see they ate quite a bit and she is roosting in the chunnel.

I honestly don't know if it was the Monistat that is helping clear the sour crop, but I know that she has improved 100% since yesterday morning. I will give her the Monistat tonight and 2 more treatments tomorrow just to be sure that the yeast infection is gone. I am so glad that I did not give her the Baytril the Vet gave me as it would have made the yeast infection worse.

I hope that your baby gets better soon. it is really hard to see them suffer so much.

Is her crop still full? I know yesterday, my baby still had a squishy crop and I vomited her 1 last time and old grass came up and ahe had been off of foraging for more than 3 days. Vomiting a chicken or chick is terrifying, and it is something I hope I never have to do.

Is her vomit just liquid, or does it have food? Mine was shaking her head side to side and when she would bend down liquid would come out of her beak.

Went out to look at her again. I took her out and let her walk on top of the crate to look at her. She pooped while up there. Real watery with some solids in it. Looked like dirt still. Then i picked her up and the contents of her crop began to spill out of her mouth again.

I did epsom salt twice and her crop was pretty empty this morning
Maybe you can start her on crumbles watered down into a mash. If you only have pellets, then water them down until they become softened. I added organic baby apple sauce to mine and mixed it real good.

Mine is not out if the woods yet, but I do have it outside on concrete so it can't eat dirt or grass. I did grate some cucumber into a fine mash and added some grit to it. She loves greens, and anytime she escapes even for a second, she heads to the grass! And I am noticing that she seems to eat anything she can pick up.
