Cross beak and half blink

This poor baby got stuck in hatching out when we had an unexpected power outage for 6 hours. I have tried to keep the temperature at the optimal level as possible. It finally got out but with a cross beak and eyes not fully opened. Its left eye is 4/5 open and right eye 1/8 open. I believe it can see but with a limited vision because it tried to drink or eat, but never could target well. It keeps chirping and following the other chick that was hatched on the same day with it. I think it is hungry. I plan to give it honey and vitamin water.

When did your chick hatch? Have its eyes opened more?

There are lots of posts on here from folks with special needs birds, and I think you'll find that many can have good lives.
