Well I've had my DH (dear hubby) fix me up another pen for my newbies! The guy got me thou! He posted there were 2 girls & one roo. and it turned out the other way But I took them both. He knew I would, he brought a lrg. trash can filled to the top w/ food, a small food dispense and the crew of coarse!

To Nancy-Yes Gorrilla is a full grown rooster, But I doubt him being full blood, the guy that we got them from said they were, but I think not. And he's elderly, my big teddy bear is! Love him love him!

So I fear the worst for our friend El Pollo Rey, he has been gone for quite some time and he had quite the illness! I hope and pray he is safe and well.

I'm sorry I haven't been on that much lately. It's been a bad time for me also. I've lost a good friend from cancer. We knew it was coming but it still hurts. But, Thank Heaven there's no pain up there!! ;-) Well I've lost my last RIR, we've got a Hawk that has found us to be quite a quick fly by luncheonette;( Hubby's heard enough of me crying this week and is back to work on the pen. So he's fixed a quick pen for them under our deck and hopefully by the end of next week it will be done. We have chain linked fencing so he's doing it like it's Fort Knox. Hopefully no thing will be able to get them. I'm not all that happy w/ the ducks but that's mostly cuz there boys and it's because of them in the chickens pen that all this has happened. If one would of been a girl it would of at least been worth while! Oh, and my favorite silkie that I've had since 3 days old has turned out to be a boy! She's started crowing yesterday!

HE's been living in a cage w/ a cockerel since day one (3/13/13) and now he crow's! God, so now I have 5 Cockerel's, 2 of which I have up for free on Craig's List. That's a web site we have that you can sell or buy item's from anyone in you own state or any part of USA. With no fee, but it's not like EBAY cuz there's no charge and mostly you have to pick it up and pay the person face to face It's more for a person to sell there things close to home without putting it in the newspaper's. Sorry this is so long!




HO, and now this guy has just contacted me on BYC and has told me this are Frizzles, not Sizzles. His feathering does curl backwards! Plus the guy won't post me back!
