Cross Continental Friends!!!

purtroppo, può capitare quando si lascia un pacchetto abbandonato troppo a lungo

puoi sempre farlo bollire per i polli o per i cani

mi viene una curiosità, voi mangiate la pasta con il pane?

i bought the pasta yesterday so that would mean the store had it sitting there to long. i am going to the store again today to get my money back because i did not by the pasta so i could get a box full of bugs. i just ate the bread with the sausage it was still good just wish i had pasta to go with it.

i do not understand your last question. i cook the dough and it turns into bread and then i eat the bread.

Quel negozio non deve vendere molta pasta, se sei stata risarcita, ancora meglio

Quanto hai pagato il pacco di pasta?, quanto pesa?

for the pasta i bought the store brand because it was cheaper and it cost $1.12 for 1 pound i bought two boxes. unfortunately i did not take the box of pasta with me because i had dumped the pasta from the box straight into the water and the pasta was sort of cooked so i just did not bring it with me. and because i did not bring it with me i had taken pictures of it but they did no want pictures so i lost 2 dollars. i ended up giving it to the dogs who enjoyed it more.

hmm pasta with bread does not sound very good. i eat the bread with sauce and sometimes i will put something on it like sausage while i eat but never have i put the pasta on the bread to eat.

while i was out i bought a package of pork. 24.30 pounds for $28.60.

it is pork shoulder or in spanish pernil. the package comes with two. for some reason i could not find it anywhere and usually the stores have it all the time. i could only find it at ralphs. the other stores had tiny ones that were not worth the money or frozen ones that looked frost bitten.
they are always filled with so much blood i really do not understand why.
this one was the smaller one of the two. i think maybe ten or eleven pounds. something like that.
the one on the right was the biggest. i think this one was at least 12 pounds.
yesterday when i was at walmart i went to the plant nursery i was going to take a picture sense i had the camera with me but i forgot. i remembered when i was already leaving the store. the plants are so pretty and colorful here. they were purple pink colored plants. plants here are also so much cheaper than in the states. the plant i bought cost me 2.96 and the same plant in the states would have cost me at least 4 or 5 dollars.

today i went to the fruit market but i was late so only two tents were. one of the tents almost took 20 dollars from me by accident. i only spent 18 dollars but i still bought quite a lot. i bought culantro, two pounds of onions, two pounds of bananas, a small watermelon, two pounds of little tiny sweet peppers, and then one little vegetable that i have no idea what it is and forgot the name and lastly 6 plantans. i will take pictures later and show everything i bought.

do not worry i know you are busy.

yesterday i was so tired i went to bed at 6 and then woke up at 11 and then went back to sleep the sun was so strong. i was only in it for maybe 30 minutes. when i was there the first tent i went to the people were nice. sense i did not speak spanish they noticed and then brought over some guy that knew english and all he wanted to do is speak in english with me. he would not shut up he left me alone after he found out i am with my fiance hahaha.

when we left there were books that people were giving away for free and i took six. four of the books are james patterson and he is a very popular writer so i took them.

anyway here are the pictures of everything i bought:
these plantains were green yesterday.
this is the vegetable that i do not know what it is. when it is cooked it sort of has a texture of a cucumber.

that is what the inside looks like.
these are the tiny peppers, they taste like a bell pepper.
the onions these were pretty cheap. i bought these with the culantro and only spent $1.50.

this was not worth the money. this cost me 6 dollars and it is small. maybe 4 or 5 pounds maybe less.
and lastly the culantro. it got smushed a little. the bananas already got eaten so not pictures of them.
