A mastodon! Noooo, I got babies! 5 out of 5 hatched! First time ever hatching. So cute!

Oh no bill don't make them anymore ugly! They are such funny looking things! You mean turkies yes? Or are turkens something else!? If they are turkies they are nicer looking than ours!

just for fulfill my fantasy, I've crossed a silver O-Shamo cockerel and four red transilvanian, now, I'm trying with a golden O-Shamo and the same transilvanian

when i saw the first black turken, I was so proud, even if the selection it's just at beginning, the females are well standing, the males looks more horizontal, there's also a blue girl, I just love her

maybe, next year I wanna leave these girls with a no relative O-Shamo, to fix some characters

I'm not a big fan of water birds, cause they're so dominant and messy, but, for my son's desire, I've leaved two goose eggs under a brood, also four turkey's, now, let's see if they wanna come out

Hola para costa rica mucho gusto para todos , did this thread die ? Any how I am in the central mountains of costa rica two hours from the pacific two hours fro the Caribbean.. I just caught the thread and thought I would say hi I raise turkeys and chickens as well I breed red sex link pullets for sale to the local family's to try and help with daily dietary protein needs for impoverished rural folks as a high producing low feed layer sexable at hatch was not available to them here so two years ago I set out to bringing pure stock from the U.S to establish parent stock for this hybrid layer I wanted to develop. I started with new Hampshire silver laced Wyandot's and white leg horn hatching eggs bought in Ohio and hatched them under Silkie hens after establishing my breeding stock I set out to improve upon them and it is a work in progress to this' day any way just a hi and hope the thread is revived take care
