Anyway, hubby will get the lights out for me. In part of the attic I forbid to go to ha ha again w/ the jokes wow I'm on a roll. I hope to see nothing but my girls moving arnd tonight. But I need to know whats doing it.

We have a part of Mt. Washington that the snow doesn't leave some years. My brother is an avid skier and there a place they call tuckermans ravine. He hikes up it, and its a HELL of a hike in summer, w/ ski on his back to ski there. Its a hell of a steep man made unkept area that people go to in May CZ theres still snow there

Man made and unkempt! Doesn't sound like a lovely combination! But that's cool that there is snow all year, wish we got more snow here. I know we have small mountains at the top of our state, however I have yet to visit them, our last get away was to a salt marsh and maritime forest. I have photos of those.

Oh man! Well, you ever find yourself in my neck of the woods and I will personally take you to the ocean! Lot's of fun, I prefer to wade though, especially in the tidal pools! And then there's shell collecting and looking for dolphins! Sand in your hair, Dizzying waves, Got to go sometime! I only wish we were a little closer, we are about three or four hours away.

Dealing with male breeding livestock: please be careful, folks. My ram got me down and started grinding me to a pulp...this is a sheep! Bulls kill folks all the time. Get someone to fix the fence and don't do it yourself if you can avoid it. Be careful!,

I'm not sure if you're directing that to me or not, but I was with my dad and the bull was safely locked in the other pasture. He's not highly tempermental,either.

That's some awful nice pictures!
Well last night we go to bed arnd 8:45 and by 9:10 hubby here's the girls going crazy! So he grabs his robe and the steel baseball bat that's by the door and heads out. It has Sofie so he starts hitting it and it runs out and he grabs the pitch fork and gets him and he's still not dead (the sucker) so he runs in, gets his 22 revolver and shoots him dead. It was a raccoon as big as a 25 pd dog! I got up when it was all over. I went out to put that goop on so they don't peck at it stuff. Mind is a blank. After 2 1/2 yr's this is the 1st and worst thing that has ever happened. I now need to do research if they run in packs (hubby says no).

Sofie, an Americana, honey and white colored. has one missing eye and the other doesn't seem to be working. She got up when I went to see her this morning. We kept her in a separate cage in safety. She got up and just walked in circles. I put my hand in front of her eye and she didn't move. I hope it gets better. Sorry its all about me right now. I'll send you some pic's from here!
God I love yours!

I could like at the beach. It's only 2 hr's away so we go once a summer when we can.

Ugh, that's awful!!! But at least you know what it is now. Is their something you can lock the birds up in at night for now? I don't think they do either, but that doesn't mean there are not more raccoon's out there. I'll have to research ways to keep them away. I hope Sofie get's better to, maybe she's just traumatized right now. It's not all about you, at least I don't think so. This is a thread where you post what's going on and that's what your doing! We all try to help solve problems, I'm just not to good at that! Thank You for the compliment on my pictures! It was indeed a very beautiful place.

We found where he came in. He's smart but were smarter!
It's not nice out today so I won't be able to poke my nose in on her a lot. I just finished cleaning (to my liking) since i got ms i don't do as much as before ha ha I've been disabled since 05. So a few yrs ago I got on the craigslist and found a guy 50miles away and he met me 1/2 way and thats when I picked up Chaz and the girls. Last summer I picked up the RIR's and I've regretted it since. The guy had Brams? their suppose to be really friendly. My niece started Chic's a little while ago so this spring she sent me 2 silkies, 2 buff orp. and 1 now cockerel. He's all black w/ a sheen of teal. But we don't want him cuz we don't have a mate for him.
