Currently I have a flock of fourteen Runner/Swedish mix ducks. I was going to order some Ancona ducklings from a farm I know but it didn't work out so I'll probably order from a hatchery in the nearish future. I want to raise rare and endangered ducks.

sssssssssso what brought you to Aust.? I've been born and raised right here and I have spent almost 60 yrs. is the same 50 mile vicinity. What would make you make such a bold move? I've dreamed of living in England. Oh, Knights and Kings and Castles wow!

haha, I think that was the old England, today there are high rises, cities, housing.lol. Only a few historic Castles left.

My duck hen hatched out 14 babies on the day I was leaving to come down for my dad's surgery. Then she wouldn't take care if them! I had to throw together a brooder and give the caretaker a quick lesson in duckling care (lotsa water, will get stinky, good luck). They look to all be purebred mallard, too.
I told hubby we were having duck, not turkey, for thanksgiving.

Didnt realise we werent meant to talk personal, that's me and nancy told off then, with our leg shaving and children issues lol.

oh lol neighbors. I use to watch that. Was like the family soap, we have lost track of it now. It has gotten to over the top I reckon.
My duck is a Runner, used to have 2...but one just went the other week
