I've had Bears, Moose, Deer and all sorts of animals but Thank Heaven I've never had an Alligator after me! OMG Megan you must of been scared!

Oh, sure, I have great appeal to oversized and at the time oversexed herbivores!
No, I taught astrophotography, which I will loosely define as the photography of stuff in the sky. We were in Yellowstone during rut and I was getting set up to do some time lapse photography of geysers and a meteor shower and two bull elk on opposite sides of the boardwalk, in the pitch dark, got all territorial. They were hollering and storming past us and I do not kid when I say it was dark. My tripod is rather heavy and I do not travel light with my other equipment but we could move in a hellfire hurry that night!
Of course, earlier that same day and in the same spot on the boardwalk La Niña Linda was charged by a cow elk. At least it was broad daylight and she chose to dive into a knot of slow moving senior citizens for cover.
We like to play with fire in our family. Don't learn from our mistakes much either.

Ou I've always wanted to do what you call astrophotography. Would have to go right out in the sticks to get anywhere dark enough here. And I'd need a proper camera.
